Alex Warren began his journey to fame in 2019 as a founding member of The Hype House, a mansion in Los Angeles where creators could live and film together. Only six years later, he is breaking records and selling out performances around the world.

He began independently releasing music in 2021 with his first single, “One More I Love You.” This was followed by two more songs later that year. His songs gained popularity for their moving, soulful messages that resonate with listeners. His music draws from deeply personal experiences, examining emotions many are not willing to admit.

Many of his songs explore the grief of losing one parent at a young age, and the other to addiction, while others express his unending love for his wife, Kouvr Annon. This emotional honesty has become a trademark of his music, and fans have not been disappointed. He has held onto that sincerity even while gaining popularity and signing under a label.

In 2022, he officially left The Hype House and signed with Atlantic Records, releasing his first single with them less than a month later. Up until the beginning of 2025, he had released 18 singles and one extended play. As impressive as that was, he remained a fairly niche artist until February 2024 when he released “Ordinary” as the lead single from his upcoming debut album You’ll Be Alright, Kid. The song became popular all-over social media, used by couples for prom videos, proposals, and anniversaries. By June, “Ordinary” was number one on the Billboard Hot 100, a spot which the song claimed 10 times total, the first song in 2025 to do so. It also held the top spot on the Pop Airplay chart for a record of 15 weeks.

This song’s popularity, plus his win of Best New Artist at the 2025 Video Music Awards, led to an increased interest in his 2025 tour, Cheaper Than Therapy. His tour has sold out in Cincinnati, St. Louis, and Charleston, as well as Australia and most locations in the United Kingdom. This success led to a 15-date extension in North America. The Walmart AMP in Rogers, AR even oversold his show, creating one of the most crowded nights in the venue’s history. His concerts attract a more diverse range of attendees than most other artists—kids under 10, young couples in high school and college, and older adults who relate to his lyrics on love and loss, some even bringing their own parents to share the experience.

With his first album released, and unwavering support from his fans, Warren shows no signs of slowing down. What began as lighthearted TikTok content has transformed into music full of passion and vulnerability, reaching listeners in ways no artist has done before.
