Previously… The girls went to a beach homecoming event, and the longer they were there, the weirder things got…

Tamryn collapsed; she looked around frantically for her sister, who wasn’t anywhere in sight. She lay in the sand, unable to move a single nerve in her body. The crowd continued to chant; Tamryn closed her eyes so hard that she could feel her eyes pulsate in the back of her head. “Please don’t hurt me, please don’t hurt me.”

she mumbled under her breath… The chanting got quieter. The crowd slowly backed off, and within about two seconds, she opened her eyes to her sister leaning over her, talking.

“Tamryn? Tam, are you okay? Can you hear me? Somebody call 9-1-1! My sister’s passed out!” Krystal screamed as her body began to shake.

“Krys? What just happened? Where’d they go?”

Tamryn responded, her voice raspy for just a moment.

“Oh my gosh, are you okay?!”

“What do you mean?! I was paralyzed, and you disappeared, and everyone was chanting those… those words from the hotel!”

“What? None of that happened… You overheated and passed out,”

Krystal reached out her hand and pulled Tamryn up from the sand. They looked at each other confused, and ultimately decided it was best to leave the beach.

“Was this like that memory? Is that what you remembered that wasn’t your memory? Is it mom’s memory?”

“Krys- Krys- stop asking questions; I have a headache… We need to find somewhere quiet with AC that doesn’t have demonic phrases floating around.”

“Yeah… Good idea”

The girls continued to walk through town, and they came across a quiet little café that was surprisingly open. They walked inside, and Krystal noticed the guy from the hotel sitting at a table alone. Tamryn went up to the front counter and rang the bell for service… they waited about five minutes, and nobody came up to help…

“Don’t bother; my dad’s the owner… we’re closed.”
